Pan said that it was a misunderstanding to believe that cutting wires was damage and the insiders and the press needed to guide the customers.

A brand distributor once put forward the so called “nondestructive installation”. The wire harness was inserted into the interface directly and wouldn‘t be cut. But this installation was retorted by the industry soon and disappeared. Why? “Because it is not professional or wrong in the view of automobile audio Hi-Hf,” Pan said, “from the professional point of view, the speaker wire and the speaker must contact sufficiently. If the wires are inserted directly, it will loose or have bad contact. Moreover, it will be oxidized after a long time. What is the professional method? Cut the original connector, connect the speaker and weld sufficiently with electric iron, and then wrap with insulating tape. In this way, the stability of speaker wire and speaker, as well as the sufficient transmission of signals are ensured. It is much better than the original vehicle or the so called nondestructive installation, and has no damage.”

Many car owners focus on “disassembly” and “cut”, and don’t realize that it can be restored after disassembly and replaced with better one after cut. “Yes. Some car owners think that the original parts are best. Take the audio speaker on the door plate for an example, the manufacturer won’t install the speaker that satisfy the Hi-Hf requirements in order to save cost and work time, and the installation process is also in clip type. In rigid driving environment, the clip installation often looses. The automobile audio refit may cause guided mode, holes and other refits that seem like damage. In fact, it will make the installed products more stable or beautiful. To make the audio have higher quality, it is also necessary to install a piece of wood pad for sound insulation to realize Hi-Hf effect. All these installations are not damage.” Pan Yongjiu said.

“In our stores, we have refitted the automobile audio for many years. No car owner has reflected that the car has any damage, loses any speaker, short-circuit occurs or any function misses after refit. Only car owners don’t satisfy with the present audio effect and request upgrade or special functions.” Pan said, “Whether the refit has damage depends on the person who refits the audio. If the person who refits the audio isn’t professional, the damage is inevitable; if the refit is conducted in professional store, the car owners will get a satisfied result. Therefore, I tell the car owners to go to professional refit stores.”
